10th Period Hits Milestone!
With more than 1,000 subscribers, this blog looks toward the future.
Well that was something. This weekend, I hit the 1,000 subscriber milestone! I can’t begin to thank everyone for their support and subscriptions! It’s awesome.
In light of this, I thought it would be good to share with you, Dear Reader, my plans for 10th Period moving forward.
First of all, I always told myself that if I ever went over 1,000 subscribers, I would start looking at starting a podcast on education and other issues. So I’m going to start exploring that possibility.
However, in order to do that, I’m going to also need to ask for more paid subscriptions because it will require more investment in time and capital.
So I’m going to, for the first time in the history of my blog, ask for more paid subscribers. I have a few currently. And I truly treasure their commitment to my work. However, if I am going to take this forum to the next step, I will need more paid subscriptions. So here’s my first and only plea for more paid subscriptions:
If I am able to gain 200 more paid subscribers, I will start a once to twice weekly podcast (depending on news).
Regardless, I will continue writing posts about the horrors and struggles of Ohio’s education policy. But I do think there’s an appetite for an Ohio-focused education policy-focused podcast given both our past and current struggle with finding ways forward as a state on education issues.
I want to be your voice. But I will need to ask for more paid subscriptions. So if 20% of you could see your way to converting to a paid subscription, that will be my commitment to this community.
Ok. Shameless pitch over. On to the work ahead…
